GAB Robins UK has appointed Nicola Webb as Learning & Development Manager to spearhead the loss adjuster’s investment in customer service excellence. She was previously Learning Delivery & Development Trainer with Direct Line Group, where she held coaching and training roles for several arms of the business.
The bulletin said “Webb will be tasked with leading the company’s ongoing commitment to the Institute of Customer Service qualifications, talent management, succession planning and its graduate development program.”
Kieran Rigby, CEO of GAB Robins UK commented: “The continuous delivery of high quality and targeted training and development is a vital element of GAB Robins’ commitment to quality customer service. Loss adjusting is a people business where services are often delivered in difficult circumstances. The ability to do this successfully requires an ongoing investment in training and we are delighted that Nicola has joined us to lead these important initiatives.”
Webb explained that in order to “deliver excellent customer service throughout the business we need to provide staff with the right tools and the training required to use them effectively. GAB Robins has a very pro-active approach to professional development for existing team members and those joining us at the start of their careers. The combination of opportunities and commitment from across the business makes this a very exciting role.”
