A fire has damaged a northwestern Pennsylvania ice arena that’s home to a major junior hockey team.
The fire broke out sometime late Monday night at Tullio Arena in Erie. That’s where the Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League play.
Investigators say the fire damaged part of the arena’s lobby, including a kiosk where programs are sold.
Officials say water flooded much of the arena’s second floor but a glass case containing old team memorabilia did not appear damaged.
Team officials say the Otters’ game against Owen Sound Attack on Wednesday should go on as planned.
