State fire officials say a Harrington, Delaware man has been arrested in a car arson case in which firefighters found him with burns on his hands.
Authorities say 48-year-old Philip F. Fluhr has been charged with second-degree arson and falsely reporting an incident. He was released on $6,000 unsecured bail.
Chief Deputy State Fire Marshal B. Scott Bullock said the March 8 fire was reported along the Milford Harrington Highway between the two cities.
Authorities said Houston firefighters found Fluhr with burns to his hands and a 2005 Ford Mustang on fire. Bullock’s office later determined Fluhr set the fire.
