New Castle County Police say a seasonal county worker was killed when he became pinned under a lawn tractor at Carousel Park.
Police say about 12:15 p.m., 68-year-old James Hagerty was getting ready to cut grass on a hill near a pond at the park. Officials say the lawn tractor slid back down the hill, over an embankment and overturned in a creek bed, pinning Hagerty.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident is under investigation.
