A landmark suburban Philadelphia inn, dating back to the 1800s, has been destroyed by fire. According to authorities, the Churchville Inn in Southampton, Bucks County, was gutted by a fire early Sunday. Two brothers who manage the restaurant for their family and a third person were forced from the building. Officials said one of the brothers was hospitalized after jumping from a second-floor window to escape the blaze.
Though the cause of the fire remains under investigation, officials stated it may have started in the building’s attic.
It’s unclear at this time when rebuilding could begin.
