Van Overturns in China Killing 6, Injuring 25

State media say at least six people were killed and 25 injured when a passenger van overturned at the end of a traffic tunnel in southwest China.

Xinhua News Agency says the van crashed Sunday near a bridge at the end of a mountain tunnel in Wayao township in Yunnan province.

Xinhua says two of the injured are in critical condition and the cause of accident is under investigation.

Serious traffic accidents are common in China due to often overloaded vehicles and poorly trained drivers who often ignore traffic laws.
