The Sauk Rapids, Minn., man whose house was severely damaged when a small plane crashed into it this month says he’s not sure whether he’ll rebuild.
A St. Cloud Times report says Jeff Hille was subdued Friday as he looked at the empty lot where his home once stood. It was demolished Thursday, about a week after the plane crashed into it, killing the pilot and passenger.
Hille says he won’t know his next steps until he meets with insurance adjusters. He’s staying with relatives in the meantime.
He’d been living in the home for six years. He says everyone has been supportive, and there are a lot of good people in the neighborhood.
Hille’s brother-in-law was the only person home when the plane crashed. He escaped through a window.
