The SSI Group, Inc., a provider in healthcare claims processing, announced the acquisition of its managed care product line by Bridium, Inc., an Atlanta firm that offers software products/technology services to the property and casualty industry.
Bobby Smith, CEO & president of The SSI Group, noted, “Our mission is to provide a seamless solution for the entire claims cycle. With the onset of HIPAA requirements, it is important that we refocus on our core products and align our synergies to produce more powerful, integrated software tools to reduce errors, improve efficiencies and reduce costs for providers/payers.”
Steve Isaac, CEO of Bridium, added, “The acquisition of the managed care software for case management, occupational health and workman’s compensation will give Bridium a broader and stronger presence in the insurance software arena”.
