AMS Services, DocSTAR Note Integrated Document Management

Insurance software developer AMS Services, Inc. and DocSTAR, a division of AuthentiDate Holding Corp., have announced integrated document management for insurance agents and brokers that use the AMS Sagitta system.

AMS Services has made electronic filing of documents through DocSTAR directly accessible from its Sagitta and Sagitta Online agency management systems. This integrated solution provides users with easier access to critical information. The process starts with the CSR’s request to scan a document. A scan cover sheet is printed from Sagitta that contains barcodes from the client, policy, loss, or activity log screens. Scanning this coversheet along with the document ensures that the document is automatically and accurately attached to the correct Sagitta client, policy, claim, and/or memo. Filed documents are immediately accessible from the same four screens.

The integration went “live” on Dec. 16, 2002 with the Wise Financial Group of Saratoga, N.Y.
