TYC/Genera Corp. recently finished the first round of an ongoing customer satisfaction indexing (CSI) program with automotive market research supplier CSi Complete.
“We need to accurately and credibly determine what our various levels of distribution and end consumers think about our products and service. We need to understand their perceptions of our company and, more importantly, areas in which we could improve our service,” said Joe Kao, marketing manager for Genera.
TYC/Genera is a provider in the manufacturing and distribution of aftermarket lamps, mirrors and a full line of heat exchange products, including a/c condensers, radiators and the industry’s first, cooling fan assemblies.
“By properly utilizing market research, Genera has the opportunity to strategically prepare for the future, which may well involve new competitors in this marketplace,” said John Webb, CSi Complete vice president of marketing. “Those who understand their customers- what they need, what they expect and how they perceive you as a company- will have a distinct advantage,” he added.
For Genera, the program reportedly further exemplifies an effort to improve performance in an industry segment where the competitive dynamics from different manufacturers make it more challenging to stand out as a premium brand.
For CSi Complete, the addition of TYC/Genera further solidifies experience at servicing the collision repair and claims industry. CSi Complete is an independent market research company with experience in the automotive, claims and customer satisfaction indexing industries.
