The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents announced a new marketing partnership, effective immediately, with GE Auto Warranty Services (GE AWS). The exclusive, long-term national agreement, will enable PIA’s agent members to partner with GE AWS to market vehicle service contracts to auto dealers.
“GE AWS’s high tech administration, competitive products and compliance mindset, coupled with the professional insurance experience of PIA agents makes this a winning combination,” stated Elizabeth B. Luce, PIA National Services Board President.
“GE AWS has over 20 years of experience in the vehicle service contract business. All GE AWS service contracts are 100 percent administered by GE and insured by GE-owned Heritage Indemnity, an “A-” rated insurance carrier (by A.M. Best),” said the announcement. It also noted the “strong regulatory and compliance posture” the company maintains and its commitment to stay ahead of industry regulatory trends.
“GE Auto Warranty Services is pleased that an association with the size and reputation of PIA would select GE AWS as their exclusive Service Contract Provider,” commented Jim Slavik, GE AWS President. “PIA agents can be confident that GE AWS conducts its business in the same professional and customer- focused manner with which they treat their own customers.”
