The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents has issued a call for nominations for two prestigious national awards.
“Both the 2004 PIA National Company Award of Excellence and Company Representative of the Year Award will be presented during a luncheon ceremony on September 11, 2004, held in conjunction with the association’s fall 2004 meetings in Orlando, Florida,” said the announcement.
It explained that “nominations for the Company Award of Excellence are made by individual PIA members as well as PIA state and regional affiliates. Carriers wishing to be considered for the Company Award of Excellence may apply, but must secure the nomination of a member of the association.
“Nominations for Company Representative of the Year are made exclusively by PIA state and regional affiliates. The deadline for nominations for both awards is July 30, 2004.
“PIA’s two other major national awards — the Professional Agent of the Year and Customer Service Representative of the Year — will be presented in April 2005 in Washington, D.C., in conjunction with the association’s annual federal legislative summit.
For additional information on the awards program or assistance in submitting a nomination, contact Michael Boland at: michaelbo@pianet.org or the PIA National staff at 703-518-1381.
