PLRB/LIRB Hold Several Adjuster Conferences

The Property Loss Research Bureau (PLRB) and Liability Insurance Research Bureau (LIRB) are holding several regional adjuster conferences this year.

The sessions will be held at the following: Great Lakes Adjusters Conference (Ypsilanti Marriott at Eagle Creek, Aug. 16-18); Midwest Adjusters Conference (Indian Lakes Resort, Bloomingdale, Ill., Sept. 21-23); Atlantic Regional Conference (Wyndham Philadelphia Franklin Center, Nov. 9-10).

Educational sessions are core training for all front-line adjusters, supervisors, and managers. Among a number of topics, curricula includes:

* Casualty Loss
* Essentials of Claims Principles
* General Property
* Winter Loss

Golf outings will be held at the conferences too.

They include the Blue Goose, Detroit Puddle, sponsoring a golf tournament on Monday, Aug. 16. The shotgun start is at 10 a.m. at Eagle Crest Golf Course. A reception will follow at the hotel. Price includes one 6′ tabletop exhibit space and one program registration fee. Exhibitors may purchase two additional “exhibits only” registrations. The charge is $130 each registration for affiliates/partners or $250 each for non-members. This includes entrance to the exhibit area and all food functions that take place with the exhibits. This does not include attendance at the educational sessions nor the Conference handout material.
