General Star Management Company announced its Accountants Professional Liability program. Effective January 28th, the product will be offered through Pearl Insurance, headquartered in Peoria, Illinois and the program administrator for this new facility.
Together, they will provide accounting professionals with customized professional liability insurance solutions in 28 states. The program is written on an admitted basis and expansion into additional states is anticipated.
Specialized coverage designed for accountants is automatically included: Privacy & Information Security, Employee Dishonesty, Disabled Partner Replacement, Production of Documents and Trial, Hearing or Arbitration Proceedings. Protection is also offered for Administrative Proceedings up to $10,000 per insured. Limits are available up to $5,000,000/$5,000,000.
Coverage will be written by General Star National Insurance Company, rated A++ (Superior) by A.M. Best Company and carries an AA+ Insurance Financial Strength Rating from Standard & Poor’s Corporation.
