San Antonio-based IAS Claim Services, an independent insurance adjusting firm that serves clients nationwide, announced two executive staff promotions.
Tony Scow, CSRM, has been promoted to chief operating officer of IAS Claim Services, and Todd Shetler has been promoted to vice president of CatCREW, a division of IAS Claim Services.
In his new role of chief operating officer, Scow will manage everyday operations for the nearly 30-year-old company. In his previous capacity, Scow led IAS’ Third Party Administration division, managing property, automobile, general liability and public entity programs.
Before joining IAS in 2011, Scow served in various leadership roles with Crawford & Company. During his 15 years with the company he won the Circle of Excellence Award in 2007 for leading a top performing branch office. He has led and managed a number of major TPA accounts with a national exposure, including a large public entity risk pool and an international writer of liability insurance for commercial truck fleets operating between Mexico and the United States.
Before being promoted to vice president of CatCREW, Shetler previously served as director of Shared Services. Shetler assists leadership in CAT deployment management as well as recruiting, provisioning, logistics, and establishing field operations during CAT.
“Both Scow and Shetler are exceptional professionals in the claims industry and are critical components to the company’s growth plans,” said IAS Claim Services CEO, Larry Cochran. “We are proud of our solid team of executives who continue to establish us as the leading technology and innovation company in the industry, enabling us to better serve our clients.”
