The Property & Liability Resource Bureau posts a “Call for Presenters” for various conferences throughout the year. Presenters are currently being sought for the 2015 Claims Conference to be held in Anaheim, Calif.
The PLRB seeks interactive, educational classes on relevant claim topics that engage attendees. Conference attendees are generally an experienced group who want to hear about the latest information, explore workable options and solutions and hear from subject experts.
The Successful Presentation
Most PLRB classes work best when there are two or more speaker perspectives presented. The attendees often find it most rewarding when they hear ideas from speakers with different expertise, such as an adjuster, an attorney and an engineer. Presenters should be from different organizations, such as a member insurance company adjuster, an attorney from a defense law firm and an engineer from a consulting group.
The”Call for Presenters” link is located on the PLRB home page. Click on the hyperlink to open the page of information that explains the conference and what subject areas will be covered.
Each “Call for Presenters” page will include instructions on how to prepare and submit a presentation proposal. There is a link for those submitting a presentation for the first time and another for those who have submitted ideas in the past.
