Atlanta-based Crawford & Company named Dan Daniel vice president of Catastrophe Services for its U.S. Property & Casualty unit, and becomes a member of its leadership team. He brings more than 20 years of senior claims experience to his position, and reports to David Repinski, chief executive officer, U.S. Property & Casualty.
In his new role Daniel will work on the strategic growth and service delivery associated with natural and man-made catastrophes, along with leading several key current client relationships. He will also be responsible for helping to manage Crawford’s catastrophe response for all of the Americas region, including Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. Daniel will be based in the Atlanta area.
Daniel’s loss adjusting experience includes serving as a catastrophe adjuster, branch adjuster, branch manager, regional manager and senior vice president of centralized services, which included overseeing catastrophe services. Most recently he has independently provided general claims management consulting services in Canada, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Latin America, and earlier held various technical and operations management positions with a global claims management firm for 15 years.
Daniel holds the Associate in Claims and Legal Principles Claims Specialist designations from the Insurance Institute of America.
