Zurich North America Names Massey Head of Programs
Zurich North America named Greg Massey the new head of Programs for Zurich North America replacing David Putz who became head of Alternative Markets for Zurich at the beginning of the new year. The leadership changes come as the company welcomed Kathleen Savio, former head of Alternative Markets, as the new CEO of Zurich North America on January 1, 2018.
Formerly head of Zurich’s Property and Casualty Line of Business for North America, Massey is now responsible for managing and driving the overall success of Zurich North America’s Programs business including Diversified Programs, Cat/E&S Programs, Segmented Programs, Construction Programs, Program Sales and New Programs. Massey’s new role became effective March 1. He reports directly to Putz.
Since joining Zurich in 2009, Massey has been successful due to his ability to partner with internal teams and distributors, understand the insurance need and provide customer-focused solutions.
Prior to being named head of Alternative Markets, David Putz was the head of both Direct Markets and Programs. A new head of Direct Markets was announced in January. Naming Massey to the head of Programs completes this transition.
