FARA, a third party administrator of insurance services located in Mandeville, La., announced the appointment of Michelle Boullion to director of Human Resources.
In this position, Boullion is responsible for all human resource functions for FARA. She is based in the company’s corporate office in Mandeville.
“Michelle was selected for this position because of her unique combination of professional experience and academic expertise in human resources management,” said Reed Bell, executive vice president and chief operating officer for FARA.
Boullion previously served as the director of employee relations for Turner Industries Group LLC, in Baton Rouge, and has a total of twelve years of work experience in Human Resources. She is currently an adjunct faculty member of the Management department at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA where she teaches Human Resource Management classes. She has also served as a guest lecturer for the Baton Rouge Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) office on labor law issues.
Boullion is certified as a senior professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Society for Human Resource Management.
