Cleburne, Texas, residents reported hearing a clap of thunder Monday morning, but the skies were blue.
That’s the word from a spokesman for the North Central Texas city after another earth tremor was detected there.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the 8:02 a.m. tremor on June 8 registered a 2.3-magnitude centered in a western neighborhood of Cleburne.
City spokesman Charlie Hodges says that after the sound like a thunder clap, residents reported hearing a low rumble for about two seconds, then nothing. He says no damage nor injuries were reported.
The tremor comes a day after a 2.6-magnitude tremor reported in the Parker community, about 10 miles to the southeast of Cleburne.
