Two men have been charged with felony theft after more than 130 calculators worth about $17,000 were stolen from a Central Texas school.
Round Rock police spokeswoman Angelique Myers on Wednesday said investigators are seeking three more suspects.
The thefts happened since September at Stony Point High School. Police say 133 graphing calculators were stolen from classrooms.
Investigators believe the devices were posted for sale online and a buyer contacted authorities after becoming suspicious about so many calculators offered.
Administrators reviewing security video recognized some ex-students at the school when classes were out but the gymnasium was open for playing basketball.
Devin March was arrested Saturday. Nicholas Ewald was booked Tuesday. Both are free on bond. Online jail records don’t list attorneys for the pair.
Some calculators have been recovered.
