The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) will offer all five of its collision certification tests on Saturday, Dec. 6, during the International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) in Orlando. This special testing session will take place at the Orange County Convention Center, the site for NACE, and will start at 8:30 a.m.
ASE will offer the following collision tests: B-2 – Painting and Refinishing; B-3 – Non-Structural Analysis & Damage Repair; B-4 – Structural Analysis & Damage Repair; B-5 – Mechanical and Electrical Components; and B-6 – Damage Analysis and Estimating. Test preparation material, including task lists and sample questions, can be downloaded from the ASE website, www.ase.com.
Technicians may register online for the tests at www.ase.com/nace, beginning in August. The pre-registration deadline is Sept. 26. On-site registration will be available on a space-available basis. However, collision technicians who plan to recertify must pre-register.
