Georgia Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John Oxendine announced that two juveniles were arrested this week in an arson fire that destroyed a former school building in Rossville, Ga.
The two suspects, both age 15, were arrested and charged with first-degree arson. The fire occurred Oct. 26.
The building at 301 Oak Street, Rossville, was destroyed. Once a school, it was being used for storage at the time of the fire. No financial amount of damages has been released.
Oxendine’s Arson Unit assisted in the investigation, working with Catoosa County Sheriff Phil Summers, Walker County Fire Chief Randy Camp, as well as the East Ridge, Tenn. Police and Fire Departments.
