Fire officials have ruled a fire that damaged a Logan County, W. Va., church as arson.
There are no suspects at this time in the fire at the Kistler Freewill Baptist Church, Kim O’Brien, spokeswoman for the state Fire Marshal’s Office, said Tuesday.
The fire broke out on June 16 and caused about $75,000 worth of damage to the brick church built in 1952, but did not disrupt Sunday morning services for about 45 people, Pastor Roland Cook said Tuesday.
No injuries were reported and nothing was stolen.
O’Brien would not release how or where the fire was set, saying that’s part of the investigation.
