Jeff Korte has been named director of the Special Investigative Unit for Litigation Solutions.
Korte will manage unit, which offers SIU Programming, State Compliance & Reporting and other services for property casualty insurers and other carriers.
Korte is a former bureau chief for the Florida Division of Insurance Fraud. During his tenure at the division, Korte managed 55 detectives and supervisors and managed complex insurance fraud cases to include claimant fraud, premium fraud, clinic fraud, medical provider fraud, auto liability and staged accidents.
He also worked very closely with the Florida State Legislature and numerous State Attorneys General offices to draft law updates, recommend stiffer criminal penalties and facilitate an overall advancement of insurance fraud regulations.
