Three lawsuits stemming from a fatal accident at the All-Good Music Festival near Masontown last summer will be tried together in Clarksburg, W.V.
U.S. District Judge Irene Keeley is combining lawsuits by survivors Elizabeth Rose Doran and Yen Ton with one filed by the father of their friend, Nicole Miller.
Miller was killed and the others were injured when a pickup truck slid down a steep grassy slope. It hit two other vehicles before plowing into the tent where the women were sleeping.
All are from Mount Pleasant, S.C.
The lawsuits target a dozen parties, including driver Clay Lewin of Cape Charles, Va., Maryland-based Walther Productions and the operator of Marvin’s Mountaintop LLC.
Several promoters and security and parking companies are also named.
Keeley has tentatively set trial for Aug. 19.
