A line of heavy storms has knocked down trees and power lines and damaged more than a dozen homes in the Anderson, S.C., area.
The storms struck around 5 a.m. Tuesday in a subdivision near state Highway 28.
Firefighters and Anderson County sheriff’s deputies were called to the area.
Officials say at least 16 homes were damaged. There were reports of one destroyed building, as well as trees reported down on homes and scattered power outages.
No injuries have been reported.
A flash flood warning was issued.
