Court records say a woman has pleaded guilty to lying about her primary residence to receive federal disaster aid after tornados hit Mississippi in April 2011.
Tamya H. Jones and Jevon O. Thomas were indicted last May on two counts each.
Jones pleaded guilty Wednesday.
The indictment in the case says they claimed that a house in Sledge was their primary residence after a Presidential Disaster Declaration was issued on April 27, 2011. A serious of tornados had ripped across the South that month.
The court records say Jones and Thomas applied for aid from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, but lied about their primary residence.
Thomas has pleaded not guilty.
