Authorities had to pull an SUV out of a sinkhole that opened up in a parking lot during heavy rains in north Georgia.
WSB-TV reports that no one was hurt in the incident Sunday afternoon in a Home Depot parking lot in Dawsonville. Dawson County Sheriff Jim Satterfield said a wrecker pulled the Nissan SUV from the sinkhole around 2:30 p.m.
Satterfield estimated the sinkhole to be 10 feet long by 5 feet wide.
Two other cars were moved from the hole as a precaution.
