Tennessee State University says it is receiving a certification from the National Weather Service signifying that the university is well prepared to protect its people and property from severe weather.
The university says the “StormReady” certification will be presented at a press conference Thursday.
TSU is one of four universities in the Tennessee Board of Regents school system and one of seven universities in the state to complete the certification and be recognized with the StormReady designation.
