Authorities say about five homes have been heavily damaged by a thunderstorm in the northwest Georgia town of Ringgold.
No injuries were reported from the Monday night storm.
The Chattanooga Times Free Press reports that belongings from the homes were scattered around Morning Glory Drive, and the owners of the homes were evacuated.
Catoosa County sheriff’s officials and construction crews were assessing the damage Tuesday morning.
Ringgold is about 15 miles south of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
