Employers Insurance Company of Nevada, A Mutual Company, (EICN) has re-named two wholly owned subsidiaries.
Effective immediately, the company formerly known as Fremont
Employers Insurance Company will operate under the name Employers Compensation Insurance Company.
In Nevada, EICN’s wholly owned care management subsidiary, Care Network, Inc., will now operate under the name Employers Occupational Health, Inc. The name Employers Insurance Company of Nevada, A Mutual Company, remains unchanged.
“Today’s announcement regarding the new names of our subsidiaries marks the achievement of two significant milestones in the continuing evolution of our company,” said EICN CEO Douglas Dirks. “As a result
of these name changes, all the companies comprising the Employers Insurance Group will now utilize the first name “Employers” and share the same corporate logo, thereby reflecting our singular corporate vision.”
Dirks added that the announcements are the latest in a series of
positive changes for EICN and its subsidiaries.
“Over the course of this past year, our company has continued to evolve and strengthen its position as the pre-eminent provider of workers’ compensation in the Western United States,” he said. “Our successful efforts were acknowledged earlier this year when EICN and ECIC received strong A — (Excellent) ratings from A.M. Best.
The companies operating under the trade name Employers Insurance Group provide workers’ compensation insurance, claims management, loss prevention consulting, underwriting and care management services.
The EIG companies include Employers Insurance Company of Nevada, A Mutual Company, a writer of workers’ compensation insurance in Nevada with offices in Reno and Henderson; Employers Compensation Insurance Company, with offices in Glendale, Newbury Park, Fresno and San Francisco, Calif., and Boise, Idaho; and Employers Occupational Health, Inc., a provider of care management services to injured workers, with offices in Reno and Henderson.
