California-based ADP Claims Services Group, a provider of integrated business solutions for the property and casualty, collision repair and automotive recycling industries, announced the availability of ADP Estimating, the first reported full-featured Web-based estimating solution.
ADP Estimating offers all the same robust features and functionality of
existing estimating products in the market but now adds the advantages of real-time access to parts and labor data as it becomes available and eliminates the need for loading CDs. ADP has pioneered a web-based estimating system that is fully integrated with every aspect of the claims management workflow – all in a single system available to collision repair shops, independent appraisers, and insurance companies.
Industry participants can now share the same estimate during the review process, which reduces cycle time and reportedly improves communication between parties. Shops and insurance companies no longer have to interpret and reconcile different calculations made by different systems.
Clients can now dispatch the appraisal, write estimates, perform total loss valuations, audit the estimate and write reports all from one system and all on the Web. Total loss valuation requests are performed through a new, Web-based version of Autosource, also launched by ADP.
Autosource is a database of “for sale” vehicle information with reportedly twice the vehicle coverage of its nearest competitor and
nearly 20 times the number of vehicles. The integration between ADP
Estimating and Autosource eliminates the need for double entry of claims information, reportedly resulting in increased productivity and improved accuracy.
ADP is also announcing the integration of new Real Steel recycled parts data from vendors with real-time availability and pricing, all within a unique and intuitive user interface in ADP Estimating.
“We are very excited about taking estimating solutions to a new level. ADP Estimating offers the advantage of real-time access to data, the convenience of the Web, full integration across all ADP claims management products, and file-sharing capabilities through a single system to let clients write estimates more quickly and accurately and reduce cycle times,” said Jose Rivero, senior vice president, ADP Claims Services Group. “Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for our clients to take advantage of the most streamlined, efficient estimating process.”
