The International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) educational Conference this Nov. 3-6 in Las Vegas will feature an Insurance Track with sessions designed specifically for today’s claims professional, including continuing education credit opportunities.
The two continuing education sessions will be Auto Glass Replacement and Repair for Insurers [4-credit CE course in all approved states, except N.Y. (5) and S.C. (2)], and Collision Repair for Insurers [3-credit CE course in all approved states, except Colo. (2) and Wash. (2)].
These sessions will be presented exclusively by the CertifiedFirst Network, a source of continuing education for insurers. The additional sessions will be Successful Partnerships Between Shops and Insurers, Power Tools for Successful Negotiations — a National Leadership Institute Course sponsored by the CPCU Society — and Insurance and Auto Repair: Issues 2005, sponsored by the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI).
The package is $150 and includes the two continuing education sessions and the session, Successful Partnerships Between Shops and Insurers, the Thursday General Session with Kyle Petty, Happy Hour, the Friday Luncheon with Richard Flint, the Saturday General Session with Jim “The Rookie” Morris, the NACE Exposition, and admittance to Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week (AAIW) shows. Tickets for these sessions may also be purchased separately. The fee for the CPCU session will be $95 and the fee for the PCI session will be $50.
The educational Conference will also include two new tracks, Sales & Marketing and Estimating, an increased number of focused sessions for dealers, jobbers and claims professionals, new 45-minute “crash course” sessions in several tracks, as well as many new speakers and instructors.
There also will be Management, Vehicle Repair, General and Lifestyle tracks and association-sponsored training with more than 50 targeted sessions comprising this year’s Conference. A special international event – IBIS@NACE – will focus on the latest issues, trends and developments in the global collision repair industry.
NACE, the world’s collision repair event, will be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, and is expected to draw an attendance of 35,000-plus from around the globe. It will feature a variety of educational sessions addressing the needs of all industry segments, as well as an Exposition with approximately 500-plus exhibiting companies.
