A 600-acre wildfire near Draper, Utah, continues to threaten more than 100 buildings.
Fire officials said Aug. 26, 2008, they’re trying to establish containment lines around the blaze.
On Aug. 25, more than 60 homes in nine Draper neighborhoods were evacuated. Those evacuation orders were lifted later that night. Fire officials say 112 buildings remain threatened.
The Corner Canyon fire started at about 12:15 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25. Fire officials believe it was human-caused.
On Tuesday morning, more than 140 firefighters were working the fire along with 15 engines, a helicopter and two airplanes. More crews were expected to arrive later in the day.
