A Tucson man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for breaking into four warehouses last year.
Pima County prosecutors say 47-year-old Wesley Shane Wallace and two other men cut through the roll-up door of a business in October 2010 then entered a second business by driving a forklift through a dividing wall.
Authorities say the men then used hammers to break through dividing walls and entered two more businesses.
When the business owners discovered the damage, they called 911 and county sheriff’s deputies found the three suspects hiding inside crates.
Wallace was convicted in September on multiple burglary, theft and criminal damage charges.
The Arizona Daily Star says Wallace also was ordered by a judge Wednesday to pay more than $23,000 in restitution.
