The New Mexico Department of Transportation is receiving a $1.6 million federal grant to repair and reconstruct highways damaged by flooding last September.
The announcement by members of the state’s congressional delegation says the Federal Highway Administration authorized the grant through an emergency relief program.
The announcement doesn’t specify the specific highways involved.
