Insurers say a Colorado hailstorm last month carried a hefty price tag.
Insurance industry spokeswoman Carole Walker said Monday the Sept. 29 storm pounded thousands of vehicles and roofs, causing an estimated $213 million in insured losses.
The damage includes more than 43,000 auto and homeowners insurance claims filed so far.
Walker says it was the state’s 8th most expensive hailstorm.
