New Property and Casualty Insurer Opens in Irving, Texas!

Irving, Texas – A new Property and Casualty insurer, Homeowners of America Insurance Company, has opened in Irving, Texas. Homeowners is a Texas company specializing in protecting residential property for Texans.

In an interview following authorization from the Texas Department of Insurance to initiate operations, Spence Tucker, President and Chief Executive Officer said, “Our motto is ‘We won’t rest until we’re the best’. We believe that a proper balance of yesterday’s hands-on values and today’s technology will provide the highest level of service to Texas agents and policyholders. We’ve all experienced a decline in customer service of late, not just in the insurance industry. Homeowners will do its part to reverse this trend. Homeowners’ web-based quoting, issue, and processing system is now on line, and we have launched a very competitive product line for homeowners and residential property owners in our state.”

“We have chosen to sell our products through independent agents; that is, agents who represent a variety of companies. It was these same agents who stepped up to the plate during the ‘mold crisis’ of several years ago when many of the larger companies stopped writing homeowners business in Texas. Homeowners has begun operations at 1333 Corporate Drive in Las Colinas. Its staff understands the Texas homeowners market. Management has nearly 100 years of experience in the financial services business, and its systems are based on proprietary internet technology. Underwriting, inspections and claims are handled by in-house personnel. Every member of Management holds a Texas P & C license. Customer service will be supported in English and Spanish.

The Company offers HOB, HOA enhanced, HOA, Enhanced Dwelling Form 1 and Dwelling Form 1 coverage. With these products the Company will be looking to develop business in population centers throughout the entire state.
