NetRate Systems, Inc., QualCorp, Inc. and VRC Insurance Systems Announce Three-way Systems Integration

September 13, 2006

NetRate Systems, Inc. (Okemos, MI), QualCorp, Inc (Valencia, CA) and VRC Insurance Systems (Westlake Village, CA) are jointly announcing plans to provide coordinated Rating, Policy Issuance, and Policy Administration through seamless integration of data between their respective systems.

The integrated system brings to fruition one-time data entry which includes full Policy Life Cycle processing of new business, endorsements, cancellation/ reinstatements, and renewals through the integration of data within NetRate Rating and NetBind modules, QualCorp FormsPlus Enterprise policy issuance, and VRC Velocity accounting and policy management. Peter Cooper, President of VRC indicates that “The advantage to our MGA and carrier customers is huge. The key is the elimination of duplicate data entry. From rating in NetRate to issuance in FormsPlus to accounting/ policy management in VRC, customer and policy data is entered only once. The MGA’s that utilize our suite of products will see increased productivity, and a decrease in the number of errors, along with more accurate reports.”

NetRate’s Rating Module is a high-performance rating engine for ISO and Carrier-custom Business Auto, General Liability, Property, Inland Marine, Crime, and Businessowners lines, along with NCCI and Monopolistic Workers Comp programs, and carrier-specific Personal Lines. The NetBind module provides Policy Life Cycle rate processing of endorsements, renewals, cancellations and reinstatements. NetRate’s NetXPort module enables XML-based integration of NetRate rating and policyholder data into external systems.

QualCorp’s FormsPlus Enterprise is a Microsoft-based policy issuance/administration system that affords the user complete submission tracking/ verification, quote issuance and issuance for all personal/commercial lines of business in all 50 states for any MGA/carrier combination. The product is designed for LAN installations or web-based processing for multiple locations. FormsPlus Enterprise uses a Microsoft Visual Basic front-end and a Microsoft SQL-Server database on the back-end.

VRC Insurance Systems’ Velocity software is the most flexible, reliable, and technologically advanced Open System Architecture in the insurance marketplace. Velocity is characterized by an architecture built for maximum availability of data and ease of data extraction. The system is designed to be highly configurable, rapidly deployed and easily adaptable to address the ever-evolving dynamics of the insurance marketplace.
