Atlas General Insurance Services Named One of the Top 10 Best Places to Work in San Diego by the San Diego Business Journal

San Diego, CA, 8/22/13 – Atlas General Insurance Services has been recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in San Diego by the San Diego Business Journal in 2013. The company placed in the top 10 in the medium employer category. This is the third consecutive year that Atlas has been honored with this award.

This countywide survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in San Diego that benefit the county’s economy, its workforce and businesses.

The Best Places to Work awards program salutes companies that have worked hard to create environments where their employees enjoy going to work. Some of the best practices that finalists possessed included rewarding hard-working employees, investing in employees, offering wellness, nutrition and fitness programs, and providing opportunities for team building and social activities.

After entering the program, companies went through a two-part survey process designed to pinpoint areas of strength and weakness. This included a company survey to evaluate company policies and practices and an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in San Diego and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
