New York police say dozens of partying teenagers caused more than $200,000 in damage at an unoccupied house in suburban Albany.
Police in North Greenbush say the damage was done during a party on the night of Feb. 17, when a number of people were seen entering and vandalizing the home.
In all, police say they expect to charge 84 teen in the case. Most of the charges are for criminal trespass.
Authorities say a contractor estimated the damage at more than $200,000. Police Chief Rocco Fragomeni said Monday the owner lives out of town.
The home is in an upscale neighborhood in North Greenbush, across the Hudson River from Albany. Fragomeni says it’s worth at least $1 million.
Police say they’re trying to figure out who supplied alcohol for the party.
