Three University of Vermont students are accused of breaking in and vandalizing a residence hall under construction.
The project’s developer estimates damages could range from $25,000 to $50,000 for broken windows, roof repairs and cleanup. They said toilers awaiting installation was thrown out windows.
The Burlington Free Press reports the incident happened last week and UVM police charged the students with burglary. They are Cameron Rivers, Zachary Schaab and Joseph Levenson, all sophomores. They were being arraigned Tuesday; it was not immediately known if they had lawyers.
